Northrop Grumman Corp. received an order for more than $33 million from the Air Force to provide bases in Southwest Asia with integrated security solutions.

Northrop Grumman Corp. received an order for more than $33 million from the Air Force to provide bases in Southwest Asia with integrated security solutions, the company said today.

Northrop Grumman will survey sites, install systems and provide support services to help protect military personnel in the U.S. Central Command Air Forces area of responsibility, which includes Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan and Qatar.

The Air Force Electronic Systems Center at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts awarded the work in December 2004 to Northrop Grumman's mission systems division in Reston, Va.

Honeywell Technical Services Inc. of Columbia, Md., is Northrop Grumman's teammate on the work.

Northrop Grumman has provided security services in Southwest Asia since 1997, installing systems at more than 30 sites to date.
