ITES-2S coming soon

The Army is set to release a request for proposals for its $20 billion IT Enterprise Solutions-2 Services (ITES-2S) contract.

Since late last year, the Army Small Computer Program and the Army Contracting Agency's Information Technology, E-Commerce and Commercial Contracting Center have been developing the contract vehicle requirements.

ITES-2S will pick up where the first ITES contract left off by promoting performance-based contracting that supports the service's enterprise infrastructure goals. The Army is expected to award the ITES-2S contract by the end of June.
