The MobileForce M220 screen can withstand jarring and bending that can occur in military applications. The notebook uses Getac's encasement design around the display, which is sunlight readable. The 8.6-pound notebook has an Intel 1.4-GHz Dothan LV processor and low power consumption.
The M220 has a bay that can accommodate an optical drive, another hard drive or a second battery. It also has a removable hard drive for security and to let multiple users securely share one notebook.
