Information Systems Laboratories won a three-year contract worth $13 million to develop and supply tactical air deployable buoys for the Navy, company officials said.
Information Systems Laboratories won a three-year contract worth $13 million to develop and supply tactical air deployable buoys for the Navy, company officials said.
The buoys are to be deployed from Antisubmarine Warfare maritime patrol aircraft, said the San Diego company. The buoys will add to the suite of sensors used by the aircraft to detect quiet diesel-electric submarines.
ISL's team features Sparton Corp., University of Washington's Applied Physics Laboratory and Spawar Systems Center.
