CSC wins $500 million agreement with U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command

Under an agreement with the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Computer Sciences Corp. will provide the service with engineering and analysis serivces as part of an 11-year, $500 million contract.

Under an agreement with the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Computer Sciences Corp. will provide the Army with engineering and analysis serivces. The contract?which has one base year and up to 10 one-year options?could be worth up to $500 million, CSC officials said.

Under the blanket purchase agreement, CSC, which is based in El Segundo, Calif., will provide systems engineering and systems analysis services to support AMCOM.

CSC employees will support the design, development, testing, prototyping and integration of missile and aviation systems and subsystems. They will also provide analysis of performance effectiveness and simulation of system design for acquisition support.

CSC was No. 3 on Washington Technology's Top 100 ranking of federal IT contractors.
