Ten companies win VA contract
Ten companies won positions on the eight-year, $3 billion Department of Veterans Affairs Global Information Technology Support Services vehicle.
Services the companies will provide under the contract include installation, operations and maintenance of computer network infrastructures; information system security; programming and system design; and software application design, development and maintenance.The program is managed by BuyIT.Gov, the department's federal acquisition center in Austin, Texas.The department may add other companies during the contract period if it is necessary in order to maintain up to 10 viable contract holders.
