IRT wins $15.6 million DIA work

Integrated Resource Technologies Inc., Springfield, Va., won a $15.6 million contract to provide administrative support to the Defense Intelligence Agency, the company announced July 25.



Management consulting firm McNeil Technologies Inc., Springfield, will work as a subcontractor for the project. Under the contract, IRT and McNeil will provide administrative support services to the DIA at various locations throughout the United States.



Established in 1986, IRT specializes in management and information services. McNeil, with 400 workers in 13 locations nationwide, specializes in information management and consulting, security and languages services.



Under the Small Business Administration's mentor-protégé program for 8(a) companies, McNeil has been a mentor to IRT since March 1999. The team has since won about $40 million in contract awards from defense agencies and the Department of Energy, according to McNeil.
