I2 Inc., Springfield, Va., has released telephone call analysis software that allows law enforcement agencies to analyze telephone billing records to identify potential members of criminal networks. PatternTracer TCA can find repeated calling patterns in up to 100,000 telephone records.

Computerized Business Systems Inc., La Crescent, Minn., has released a device that, when placed in a telephone switching station, can record telephone calls and caller identification information. Marketed for law enforcement agencies, the Voice Data Recorder meets requirements of the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act.
