CGI Federal keeps $127M in State Department visa work
These task order wins cover services in Scandinavia, Central Europe, China and Southeast Asia.
CGI Federal continues to maintain its position as a supplier of visa application process services for the State Department.
The company has won the recompetes for three task orders it held for those services in Scandinavia, Central Europe, China, and Southeast Asia. The combined value of the two-year task orders is $137.3 million.
State's Bureau of Consular Affairs awarded the task orders through the Global Support Strategy for Overseas Consular Support Services 2.0 vehicle.
Counting these task orders, CGI processes immigrant and non-immigrant visa in 25 countries across Europe and Asia. During CGI's 2023 fiscal year, the company processed almost 5.5 million visa applicants globally.
The company is using its CGI Atlas 360 solution that is designed to help visa applicants manage their own application process, including inquiries, scheduling and document tracking. Applicants can also pay fees and receive documents.
“We are evolving the user experience while streamlining and automating processes that lead to a smoother, more efficient and customer-centric visa application process for applicants,” said Jason Dee, leader of CGI's international affairs business unit and a senior vice president.
