Some OASIS+ Small Business protests dismissed, others continue
The results of these challenges have been mixed as the General Services Administration will re-evaluate some proposals and other companies are taking it to a full ruling.
Several of the early bid protests challenging the award of the OASIS+ Small Business contract have been dismissed, but others remain active.
The General Services Administration announced its list of around 1,300 apparent winners for the professional services vehicle in July. But 11 companies that did not make the cut challenged how GSA evaluated their proposals.
GSA plans a corrective action for protests involving Athena Technology Group, Johnson Technology Systems, Explore Digits and SOFtact Solutions.
The agency will take another look at their proposals and their evaluations. I'm told a fifth company will also get a second look, so another protest is likely to be dismissed in the coming days.
Six other protests remain open at the Government Accountability Office. Some of these were filed in recent weeks, so GSA hasn’t responded yet.
The remaining protests and their due dates for a GAO ruling are:
- Jefferson Consulting Group – Nov. 15
- Compel joint venture – Nov. 18
- Mission Soaiya joint venture – Nov.18
- AtVentures – Nov. 18
- Venergy Group – Nov. 20
- Wits Solutions – Dec.2
