The Missile Defense Agency received six proposals for the work.

A joint venture of BCF Solutions and Strategic Alliance Business Group has won a five-year, $360 million contract for program planning and acquisition support services to the Missile Defense Agency.

Strategic Alliance Solutions will perform studies, analysis and evaluations to aid in MDA's responsibility for the country's layered missile defense system.

MDA received six proposals for the contract, the Pentagon said in its Friday awards digest. SAS will also be responsible for support in areas such as acquisition management, earned value management, and schedule integration and analysis.

SAS is a service-disabled veteran-owned and women-owned venture that started in 2013 to combine both owners' offerings for clients in the Defense and Homeland Security departments.

The agency ran this procurement through its family of administrative and acquisition support contracts known as TEAMS -- short for technical, engineering, advisory and management support.
