The Defense Information Systems Agency wants small businesses to provide the work if they can provide the updated capabilities DISA needs.

The Defense Information Systems Agency is looking for small businesses that can provide software development and sustain for two systems.

System number one is the Tactical Data Link Configuration Management Tool, which configures forms and documents.

A new sources sought notice describes three phases of work DISA needs to be done. Phase one will move the tool to a modernized system, which is underway. Phase two will add new capabilities and phase three will add meeting management functions.

The second system is the U.S. Message Text Format -- Web Application, or USMTF-WD. The system is used to maintain a catalog of over 300 machine-generated message formats. The formats move information in a non-real time format.

USMTF-WD is currently hosted in the cloud and has an existing authorization to operate, but documentation is needed to update and change the system and meet Risk Management Framework standards.

DISA is planning to award the four-year contract by September 2024.

The current contract was awarded through the Encore III vehicle to Riverside Engineering LLC, a small business joint venture.

Responses to the request for information are due Jan. 17.
