DIA working to release HR system revamp contracts
The Defense Intelligence Agency is eyeing the latter part of the summer to unveil a pair of 10-year contracts for modernizing human capital systems.
The Defense Intelligence Agency has held an industry day recently to update contractors on its plans to modernize its human resources systems and more details have emerged out of that event.
In reading procurement documents on Sam.gov, it looks like DIA will award a pair of single-award contracts to do so.
One contract will hire a systems integrator and the second is for what DIA calling for a “original equipment manufacturer” or OEM.
That virtual industry day on July 19 was for the systems integrator contract.
A draft performance work statement for the systems integrator contract details how DIA is looking for a revamp of its HR systems and processes that lean on data to make better decisions, identify challenges ahead of time, and drive an improved employee experience.
DIA is using the OEM contract to acquire a human capital management system that has components for talent acquisition, development, compensation and benefits, analytics and employee records.
Draft solicitations are out for both contracts and comments are due by the end of July for the systems integration draft. The comment period is closed on the OEM contract.
The agency expects the final requests for proposals to hit the streets by the end of the summer.
A dollar value has been pegged to the contracts, but they will have a 10-year period including options.
