The vehicle known as ITOPS 4.0 will have both small business and full-and-open tracks.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention expects to release the solicitation for a potential $250 million professional services contract vehicle within the next 30-to-45 days.

CDC wants to make awards on the five-year contract by April 1, the agency said in a Sam.gov notice.

This is the fourth iteration of the International Technical, Operational and Professional Support Services vehicle known as ITOPS.

The technical support services and professional support services domains will be full-and open, while the operational support services domain is reserved for small businesses.

Examples of technical services include public health, laboratory coordination and management, training, building and design coordination, human capacity development and other services.

Task areas under operational support include secretarial services, program coordination, resource management, facilities projects, program operations and others.

According to Deltek data, there are seven incumbents on the current contract with Massgenics winning the most task orders.

Other incumbents are Rumph & Associates, QED Group, RTI International, Dexis Professional Services, Camris International and Development Alternatives Inc.
