CGI Federal grabbed a big task order under a $250 million Justice Department pact for financial management modernization support.
CGI Federal has booked its first task order under a $250 million Justice Department blanket purchase agreement to support DOJ financial management processes.
The $113.9 million order builds on earlier work CGI did for Justice, when the company implemented its Momentum financial management software. This task order runs for five years, CGI said Tuesday.
CGI and DOJ have worked together for many years and now have embarked on a digital transformation journey.
The company will bring new technologies and capabilities around robotic process automation, testing automation and migration to the cloud. Some work will take place across CGI’s onshore delivery centers in the U.S., which is a network of facilities located away from major cities and can tap into local talent and lower costs of living.

CGI will support DOJ’s Unified Financial Management System and Unified Asset Management System programs. UFMS and UAMS standardize business processes across the department.
