Amentum

Corhyn Parr has joined this global government services provider as vice president of international business development amid its push to expand the overall defense, energy and environment portfolio.

Parr most recently worked as chief executive of Nuclear Waste Services, a subsidiary of the U.K.’s Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.

Amentum touted her experience in navigating complex regulatory environments and two-decade background in the nuclear industry .

Castellum

Tanya Bassett has joined this provider of cybersecurity, electronic warfare and software engineering services as a vice president of business development and capture management.

Bassett will work alongside Brooke Citrano, also a BD VP and leader of proposal operations, to lead Castellum’s organic growth engine.

A 28-year market veteran, Bassett most recently worked as a BD VP at Precise Systems. Her career also includes roles at Science Applications International Corp. and the Naval Air Warfare Center’s aircraft division.

Koniag Government Solutions

Joanie Barr has joined this provider of management and professional services as senior vice president of business operations, a role she brings three decades of experience to.

Barr will work with KGS’ departments across functions such as operations, growth and proposals.

She most recently held the role of chief technology officer at IntelliBridge, which is now part of Agile Defense.

Sierra7

Scott Feighenbaum has joined this provider of consulting and IT services as vice president of solutions, a role that involves pursuits of new work and management of existing contracts.

The 25-year market veteran’s areas of experience include systems integration, financial management systems, infrastructure solutions and cybersecurity.

His career prior to Sierra7 includes roles at companies such as Science Applications International Corp., Accenture Federal Services, Sila Solutions Group and Ernst & Young.

Silicon Valley Defense Group

Mike Keating is now executive director for this nonprofit organization that advocates for startups and other largely-commercial technology companies looking to increasing their work with the Defense Department.

Keating joins SVDG from Deep Labs AI, where he most recently led its public sector practice that included behavior analysis and anomaly detection offerings.

He also is a former Navy officer and served in the Pentagon, where he managed directed energy requirements and budget strategies for the Chief of Naval Operations.

Cubic Corp.

Stevan Slijepcevic, the defense and transportation technology company’s CEO since January 2022, is now chairman of its board of directors following the retirement of Mac Curtis from the latter position.

Curtis became board chair following Cubic’s sale in the spring of 2021 to Veritas Capital and Evergreen Coast Capital Corp., the private equity arm of activist hedge fund Elliott Investment Management.

He previously led former Veritas portfolio companies Perspecta, Vencore and Vangent as their CEO.

ICF

Caroline Angoorly has joined the board of directors amid ICF’s push to expand its footing across the energy market, especially with respect to utility clients and demand-side work with them.

Angoorly is the founder and managing partner of GreenTao, which works with private and public sector clients on low-carbon infrastructure projects. She is also a former chief operating officer for NY Green Bank and before that held senior roles at J.P. Morgan, NRG Energy and Milbank.

ICF’s board expands to eight members with this appointment.

Ultra Intelligence & Communications

Dana Mehnert has joined the board of directors at this provider of tactical communications, command-and-control and cyber technologies for defense agencies.

Mehnert was formerly a longtime executive at L3Harris Technologies and most recently led its communications segment as president, then retired from the company in early 2023 after a 38-year career there.

After leaving L3Harris, Mehnert founded Invictus Strategic Advisors to work with industry leaders and investment institutions. He is also chairman of the board of directors at EOS Defense Systems USA.
