For Your Information hires Sami as president

For Your Information has hired a new president in Sara Sami, a 23-year market veteran who joins the human capital management and IT services specialist to help lead its overall direction

Led by chief executive Brooke Neblett, the woman-owned small business completed its merger with fellow technology services contractor Federal Hill Consulting in 2021 and is now charting the next phase of its strategy.

FYI said that Sami will look to strengthen the company’s existing partnerships with government agencies and other stakeholders, plus work to build new customer relationships.

The company has recorded approximately $15.8 million in unclassified prime contract revenue over the trailing 12 months with roughly half of that from the Homeland Security Department, according to USASpending.gov figures.

In the merger with Federal Hill, FYI added a suite of tech-centric services that include application and web development. FYI also describes data analytics, technical training and program management as among its core lines of work.

Sami most recently worked as vice president of human resources at Buchanan & Edwards. Her career also includes human capital leadership roles at RenXTech, Metrostar Systems and Cognosante.
