Find opportunities — and win them.

Unanet brings in an artificial intelligence capability to its portfolio of offerings that help companies respond to solicitations.

Unanet is adding new artificial intelligence capabilities for proposal writing to its portfolio through its now-closed acquisition of GovPro AI.

GovPro brings an AI-powered proposal tool that can create a high-quality first proposal draft to virtually any federal solicitation in a matter of hours, according to Unanet.

“By incorporating GovPro AI’s technology into the Unanet product portfolio, Unanet is offering customers a solution to one of their most challenging and growth-constraining problems: the enormous amount of time, money, and resources invested in responding to complex and highly technical requests for proposals,” the company said in a release Friday.

Unanet did not disclose the terms of the acquisition.

GovPro works to blend its knowledge of business development and procurement processes with an AI tool.

“In addition to helping customers across the GovCon and [architecture, engineering and construction] industries respond to RFPs more efficiently, GovPro AI’s technology and team will accelerate Unanet’s broader AI strategy via thought leadership, new technologies, and class-leading R&D methodologies,” said Steve Karp, chief innovation officer for Unanet.

Responding to solicitations can be expensive, ranging from $50,000 to $100,000. According to Unanet’s most recent GAUGE Report, 45% of government contractors cite lack of BD resources as a challenge and 69% say they are having issues winning new contracts.

Unanet estimates with its GovPro AI tool ,it can reduce the average RFP time by 70% and cut costs by 50%. A second goal is to help companies improve their “go/no go” decision making.

"Being part of the Unanet team means we can advance our innovation and refine the solution features,” GovPro AI's founder Alexander Cohen said.
