CACI International
Bob Marion, a retired Army lieutenant general and former director of its Acquisition Corps, has joined the company as a senior vice president and will work as a corporate strategic adviser.
Marion is tasked with providing insight on industry and acquisition issues to his colleagues on CACI's leadership team as they make decisions on their overall direction.
The 35-year Army veteran most recently served as principal military deputy to the Army's assistant secretary for acquisition, technology and logistics.
As director of the Army Acquisition Corps, he led a team of almost 35,000 professionals in their development and advancement.
Core4ce
The cybersecurity company has stood up a new technology innovation and incubation network that will be led by Todd Harbour, a co-founder and now chief technology officer.
Dubbed The Forge, this digital hub will work to streamline the data acquisition process and further break down barriers to sharing cyber threat intelligence. Core4ce also stood up The Forge to develop new solutions for the data collection, processing and analysis functions related to cyber.
Harbour will be assisted in leadership over The Forge by Kim Kok, vice president of sales and emerging technology; and Michael Sass, head of data engineering and digital analytics.
Kok most recently worked as senior vice president for public sector at Human Security, while Sass' career includes product development leadership roles at C3 AI and within the Defense Department's Chief Digital and AI Office.
General Catalyst
A pair of public sector veterans have taken up full-time positions at this venture capital firm that makes early stage and growth investments in technology businesses.
Teresa Carlson will help lead General Catalyst's work across different ecosystems and industries after having acted as an adviser to the firm for one year. Carlson is the former leader of Amazon Web Services' public sector business and has since worked in stints at Splunk and Flexport.
Maryam Mujica joins as global head of public policy with almost two decades of government and industry experience. Her career includes policy-related roles at institutions such as the White House National Security Council staff, Google, Twitter and Booking Holdings.
General Catalyst is an investor in the defense tech outfit Anduril
M1 Support Services
After being acquired by Cerberus Capital in May, the aviation support services provider has brought in a trio of former DynCorp International executives to the leadership team.
They join George Krivo, M1's chief executive and former CEO of DynCorp before its sale to Amentum in the fall of 2020.
William Kansky was appointed chief financial officer at M1 and James Cassella was named chief growth officer, both of which were the roles they worked in at DynCorp prior to the sale.
Bill Purdy is major hire number three at M1 and takes on the role of senior vice president of operations, quality and continuous improvement. His career also includes leadership positions at V2X.
