Auria has hired a new chief executive in Damian DiPippa, a three-decade federal market veteran who joins the space-focused software development company five months after its unveiling.

Enlightenment Capital, a government market investment firm, created the 400-employee Auria through a combination of four other portfolio businesses. DiPippa joins Auria to lead its push for growth and to become a more formidable mid-tier provider of space solutions, Auria said Tuesday.

Most recently, DiPippa was CEO of the technology and mission support services provider Aretum. He also is the founding CEO of Arcfield, the systems engineering spinoff of Peraton that was created in late 2021.

His career also includes senior executive roles at Peraton, Perspecta, ManTech, Northrop Grumman, Engility and TASC.
