Glen Ives first joined Castellum in 2019 as chief growth officer after a one-year stint as CEO at Sabre Systems.

Castellum has promoted a new chief executive from within its own ranks in Glen Ives, currently chief operating officer at the government services company.

The company said Wednesday that Ives will start his CEO tenure on July 1 and will succeed Mark Fuller, co-founder and CEO since 2019.

Fuller led Castellum through the listing of its common stock on the NYSE American exchange and a series of acquisitions that created a $45 million-annual revenue entity.

Ives first joined Castellum in 2019 as chief growth officer following a one-year stint as CEO of Sabre Systems, where he worked for approximately 11 years.

At Castellum, Ives gradually took on more responsibilities before his most recent promotion to chief operating officer.

Castellum is working to build a more formidable mid-tier government contractor in areas such as cybersecurity, electronic warfare and software engineering services.
