Financial and operational leadership appointments in the market
A pair of companies backed by two of the federal market's most active private investors plus a third global government services provider make moves in their c-suite.
Agile Defense
Bill Luebke has joined the digital transformation specialist as chief financial officer and brings approximately three decades of federal market experience to the role.
Luebke will move into the position currently held by Daniel Yuly, who will take on a new position focused on optimizing the financial performance of Agile Defense's programs. The delivery of services will be Yuly's second major priority in his new role.
In the fall of 2022, investment firm Enlightenment Capital acquired Agile Defense and has since supported several major moves. Two of those events include the acquisition of XOR Security in May 2023 and hire of chief executive Rick Wagner later that October.
Most recently, Luebke worked as principal accounting officer and controller at Peraton and held the same role at Perspecta prior to their business combination in 2021. He also held a senior vice president title at both companies.
Edgewater Federal Solutions
Brian Carr has moved up to the chief financial officer position approximately one year after he started at this enterprise IT and cybersecurity-focused company.
Carr first joined Edgewater in August 2022 as vice president of finance after two decades at companies such as GovCIO, Salient CRGT and Cognosante. GovCIO completed its acquisition of Salient CRGT in early 2022.
Edgewater is backed by Blue Delta Capital Partners, the government market venture firm which entered the investment in 2022.
