DZYNE hires General Atomics vet as revenue chief
Highlander Partners acquired the unmanned systems maker in 2023 as part of a push to identify and acquire similar businesses.
DZYNE Technologies, an unmanned autonomous systems developer, has hired a new chief revenue officer in three-decade industry veteran David Levy.
Levy will oversee revenue operations for the company’s long-endurance UAS platforms, artificial intelligence-driven software offerings and other defense technology products.
The company said Tuesday that Levy succeeds Christopher Miller, who has served as interim CRO but will stay with DZYNE as chief of strategic pursuits and a member of the board of directors.
DZYNE was founded in 2012 and is owned by the private equity firm Highlander Partners, which purchased the drone maker in January 2023 as part of its push to identify and acquire similar businesses.
Levy joins DZYNE after 19 years at General Atomics, where he most recently worked as senior director for aeronautical systems. He helped lead the work to build a program focused on UAS development, manufacturing and sustainment meant to support U.S. defense requirements.
Prior to General Atomics, Levy worked at Boeing for 17 years as project manager and senior engineer.
