Unissant is looking to further expand its footprint across federal health care and national security programs.

Unissant has hired a new chief strategy and revenue officer in Craig Janus, a 35-year industry veteran whose background includes several leadership roles at other midsized and large companies in the federal market.

Janus will oversee corporate strategy, development and growth initiatives with the goal of expanding Unissant’s footprint across federal health care and national security programs, the company said Tuesday.

His career includes senior positions at Xator, Noblis, Science Applications International Corp. and the former URS Corp. He is also a former chief executive for Technology Advancement Group.

Unissant has booked approximately $63.7 million in unclassified prime contract obligations over the trailing 12 months with the Homeland Security Department representing approximately 51.8% of that spend, according to GovTribe data. The Health and Human Services Department is next at 34.7%, followed by the Defense Health Agency at 9.4%.
