Ultra Intelligence & Communications hires new CEO
The subsidiary of Ultra Electronics brings in a former Science Applications International Corp. business unit leader.
Electronic product maker Ultra Intelligence & Communications has hired a new chief executive in Jon Rucker, a nearly two-decade government market veteran and formerly of Science Applications International Corp.
Rucker's appointment means that acting CEO Dan Verwiel will return to his role as an adviser to Ultra after having led the business for two months, the company said Monday.
Ultra Intelligence & Communications is a subsidiary of Ultra Electronics, the U.K-headquartered defense and security technology company.
At SAIC, Rucker most recently was senior vice president of that company's Army business unit with responsibility over growth and program execution.
He worked as a group senior VP at CACI International prior to SAIC and is a two-decade veteran of Lockheed Martin.
