Broadtree Partners is looking for more investment opportunities across the government market.

Private equity firm Broadtree Partners has made an addition to its team of operating executives in Tim Reardon, former Constellis CEO and also nearly 25-year federal market veteran.

Broadtree said Thursday that Reardon will oversee the development and implementation of the investment group's strategy for identifying investment opportunities in aerospace, defense and government services businesses.

In addition to that position, Reardon was appointed chief executive and chairman of the board of directors for mission support services provider Sayres Defense. Broadtree's first acquisition in the government contracting market was of Sayres in June 2021.

Sayres touts its core service areas as covering acquisition, engineering, operations, security and training support. The Navy is one key customer of Sayres, as is the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency.

Reardon led the global security services provider Constellis from 2018 to 2021 amid a period of financial restructuring and integration efforts to position the company for a return to growth.

Prior to Constellis, Reardon was president of the defense and intelligence segment at Leidos and joined that company through its 2016 merger with the former Lockheed Martin information systems business he held a number of senior positions within.

He also served as a CIA officer for 10 years.
