Booz Allen hires former FBI cyber section chief
The two-decade FBI veteran will focus on protecting critical infrastructure and federal government assets.
Booz Allen Hamilton has added another executive to its national cyber strategy leadership team in Jason Fickett, most recently a section chief within the FBI's cyber section.
The two-decade FBI veteran will focus on protecting critical infrastructure and federal government assets from cyber threats in his work with civilian, defense and national security clients.
Fickett's most recent role at the FBI saw him act as chief operating officer responsible for the cyber division's logistics, facilities and operational budget. He also oversaw cyber training for the FBI's nearly 20,000-person investigative workforce that includes special agents, intelligence analysts and computer scientists.
Earlier in his career he was an assistant special agent-in-charge with the FBI’s Washington human intelligence branch and a two-decade Navy Reserve veteran, the latter of which saw him serve as an intelligence officer.
