Bart & Associates hires new growth chief

The three-decade market veteran joins B&A on the heels of a new investor coming in.

Systems integration company Bart & Associates has hired three-decade federal IT market veteran Michael Polmar as chief growth officer.

B&A announced Polmar’s hire Tuesday, less than one month after the company announced it had received financial backing from private equity firm Battle Investment Group. McLean, Virginia-headquartered B&A is using those resources to invest in new technologies.

Polmar’s career includes leadership roles over profit-and-loss and growth organizations at the former Vencore, ManTech and AT&T’s federal business along with other smaller private equity-backed firms.
