The two-decade government service veteran will be responsible for the growth strategy and interactions with federal customers working on user experience.

Government IT and contact center services firm HighPoint Global has hired a new director of strategic growth in Scott Craig, a nearly two-decade federal service veteran and former technology executive for several agencies.

Craig will lead the development and execution of HighPoint’s overall push for growth, the company said Friday. He will also act as a conduit between HighPoint and its federal clients as they work on programs related to user experience and citizen outcomes.

Most recently, he was a senior principal at Maximus’ federal services segment.

His career in government includes service as chief information officer and chief technology officer at the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board, as well as the CIO posts at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and Secret Service.

Prior to that, Craig was deputy CIO for the Veterans Affairs and Housing and Urban Development departments.
