Intel's new public sector leader joins the global computer chip making giant from Dell, where he most recently was technology chief for the federal arm.

Global computer chip giant Intel has hired a new leader for its government business in Cameron Chehreh, formerly the lead technology executive for Dell Technologies’ federal unit.

The two-decade market veteran’s official title at Intel is vice president and general manager of public sector, he wrote in this LinkedIn post earlier in the week.

Chehreh’s most recent role was chief technology officer at Dell’s federal arm with responsibilities over go-to-market strategies and models for delivering new solutions to federal customers around cybersecurity, cloud computing security, Internet of Things, big data, advanced analytics and end user computing,

He joined Dell in 2015 after a five-year stint at General Dynamics’ IT services unit, where he was CTO for commercial cybersecurity services.
