ICF hires former Dovel finance chief

ICF's incoming chief financial officer will join in February from Dovel Technologies, where he was part of the company's executive team that led its growth and sale to Guidehouse.

ICF has hired a new chief financial officer in Barry Broadus, a three-decade federal market veteran and most recently CFO at the former Dovel Technologies.

Broadus will join ICF on Feb. 28 and succeed Bettina Welsh, whom the company said Monday will work as an adviser to the company through early April 2022.

At Dovel, Broadus was part of the executive team that led the company’s growth and subsequent sale to Guidehouse in October 2021. His career also includes CFO roles at SRI International, Constellis and the former Alion Science and Technology.

Welsh joined ICF as a senior vice president in late 2019 and was appointed CFO in early 2020. She was CFO at LMI prior to ICF.

Fairfax, Virginia-headquartered ICF will report its fourth quarter and full-year financial results for 2021 on Feb. 24.
