Deloitte has hired two new managing directors to its government and public services consulting practice in Amy Chaput and Monica McEwen, whom the firm said Monday will help lead its work in analytics and cognitive programs.
Chaput will focus on mission solutions development with clients in the defense, homeland security and intelligence segments.
McEwen has been tasked with working with agencies on accelerating their data transformation efforts, growing Deloitte’s artificial intelligence offerings and collaborating with the firm’s alliance partners.
“As government agencies continue to modernize, data analytics and AI solutions will play an instrumental role in transforming operations and mission decision-making,” said Jason Manstof, principal and leader of Deloitte’s strategy and analytics portfolio for government customers.
Chaput is a former acting chief technology officer for the CIA, where she developed and communicated that agency’s strategy for technology research and investment. More recently, she was vice president for civil programs at aerospace engineering firm Stellar Solutions.
McEwen joins Deloitte from ThoughtSpot, a business intelligence analytics search software maker, where she was vice president of its public sector unit. She also started and led the government business units of OmniSci and Qlik.
