Constellis has appointed its lead director Terry Ryan as executive chairman and CEO in a move effective immediately, the security and risk management services company said Wednesday.
Ryan succeeds Tim Reardon, who resigned from Constellis after almost three years as its chief executive. The Herndon, Virginia-based company said in a release that Reardon left to “pursue other interests.”
During Reardon’s tenure, Constellis underwent a financial restructuring and recapitalization announced in March 2020 to reduce its debt by $1.1 billion and gain access to more capital for operations.
The past 12 months have also seen Constellis hire a new chief financial officer in Richard Hozik and chief growth officer in Darryle Conway.
Ryan is a prior CEO of federal services companies such as Adroid Systems, VTG and Tanax Aerospace. The two-decade market veteran has also held senior executive roles at Science Applications International Corp., Mercury Systems and ManTech International.
His career in government saw him serve in positions such as director of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems for the Defense Department and deputy director of the Defense Airborne Reconnaissance Office.
