CONTRACT AWARD

NetCentrics wins $268.4M DOD IT contract

NetCentrics has received a new four-year, $268.4 million contract for IT and service delivery support services to the Defense Department’s Joint Service Provider organization.

JSP is housed within the Washington Headquarters Service and is responsible for providing the full range of information technology equipment services, solutions and customer support to the office of the defense secretary, office of the deputy chief management officer and WHS.

Herndon, Virginia-based NetCentrics will continue its work to help JSP understand its operating environment and bring both mature capabilities and industry best practices to enhance IT support services, the Defense Department said in its Thursday awards digest.

The company first won the work in June 2017 and subsequently received a pair of bridge extensions in August and November of 2018 before this latest award.

Work under the new contract will take place through Feb. 27, 2023.
