Novetta buys Berico to grow cloud work, intell presence

Novetta has acquired Berico Technologies to add cloud computing engineering, data analytics and IT modernization services for intelligence agencies.
Terms of the deal were undisclosed but Novetta said Tuesday that Berico brings footprints with the Defense Intelligence Agency, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and National Media Exploitation Center.
Reston, Virginia-based Berico was founded in 2006 and its services also include intelligence analysis, cyberspace operations and software development.
Baird acted as financial adviser to Berico. Carlyle Group acquired Novetta in August 2015.
