Defense and intelligence IT contractor Altamira Technologies has promoted former Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer Jonathan Moneymaker to chief operating officer.

McLean, Va.-based Altamira said Tuesday that Moneymaker will oversee the company’s consolidated strategy, operations and sales team. He joined Altamira in 2014 when it was known as Invertix from Boeing, where he led its intelligence systems group.

Moneymaker helped spearhead Altamira’s acquisitions in 2016 that included cyber services provider Prime Solutions and information management company APG Technologies.

Altamira was selected as GovCon Contractor of the Year for 2017 in the $75 million-$300 million category after what it said was double-digit growth for last year and 2016.
