Leidos takes in $988M NGA IT contract

Leidos has won a five-year, $988 million contract for IT services to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

NGA awarded the contract in support of its Information Technology Enterprise Management User Facing Services program that seeks to bring current and emerging IT tools into the agency, Leidos said Thursday.

The company will help NGA transition the UFS from current contracts, lead operations and sustainment work and implement special orders in support of mission needs. Leidos will also work to help NGA transition to a future desktop environment service in the intelligence community.

ITEMS’ goal is to help apply current and emerging IT services for geospatial intelligence, according to Leidos.
