Advantage SCI takes DIA security program services contract

Advantage SCI has won a potential four-year, $17.8 million contract to help run security programs and perform classification management services for the Defense Intelligence Agency.

DIA reserved the contract for 8(a) small businesses and received 12 offers during the competition, the Defense Department said in its Friday contracts digest.

Work will also include support for security education and training programs and services in areas of personnel security, police and threat management.

The contract contains one base year and three option years. Alexandria, Va.-based Advantage will take over the work performed by incumbent Garret Group, according to Deltek.
