High speed over copper

A new cabling product can support 10 Gigabit Ethernet say developers of the technology from Systimax Solution, a subsidiary of CommScope Inc. with offices in North Carolina, Belgium and Brazil.

The full unshielded twisted pair wiring solution complies with the latest IEEE 802.3an guidelines, Systimax officials said.

The product is designed to support ever increasing bandwidth needs and more demanding applications such as high resolution video, grid computing and storage area network/network attached storage.

A Systimax tool manages the interaction between cables, patch cords and connectors to reduce noise from adjacent cables or connectors.
