Navy Awards $109M for Undersea Warfare Center Services

The Navy has awarded three contracts totaling more than $109 million to Anteon Corp. of Fairfax, Va., DynCorp of Reston, Va., and Systems Engineering Associates Corp. of Middletown, R.I., for engineering and technical services for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, R.I.

Anteon's contract is valued at $34.4 million over five years if all options are exercised. SEA Corp.'s contract has a value of $40 million over the same period. The value of DynCorp's contract is $35 million.

The companies will provide engineering services for the non-propulsion electronics of Seawolf Class and other submarines. The work supports the Warfare Center's Submarine Combat Systems Program Office in a wide range of engineering, technical and program management functions.

System development responsibilities include engineering design, in-service engineering and life-cycle management services for combat and towed-array sonar systems.
