We want your opinion on the direction of 2019

In our 2019 Contractor Confidence Index survey we want to know how you feel about the market and whether you think it is headed in a direction that will help your company.

2019 may have gotten off to an unorthodox start but has it shaken your confidence in the market?

As part of our annual WT Contractor Confidence Index survey, we are asking our Washington Technology readers a simple question: How do you feel about the direction of the market?

We are taking the pulse of the market but we can’t do it without your help. Click here to take the short survey. All of your answers are kept confidential. We’ll report out the aggregated results in a WT Insider Report in February.

For the 2019 survey, we ask a core set of questions to capture the sentiment of the market. We’ll compare these results to previous years and calculate the Contractor Confidence Index Number.

At the start of 2018, the Index stood at 122.1 to reflect the high expectations contractors had in the market place. It was the highest ranking we had seen since we started the Contractor Confidence Index in 2015.

Our core set of questions covers items such as growth expectations, investments, whether the market is headed in a positive or negative direction, hiring expectations and job satisfaction.

A second set of questions will look at specific technology areas and whether they are high priorities for government customers. We also ask a deeper set of questions around IT modernization efforts and expectations.

Our final report will offer unique insights into the market and what the expectations are for the next year.

The survey results will also play an important role in an upcoming WT event where we’ll go into more detail on winning strategies and challenges for 2019. Stay tuned for more details on that event.

And if you haven’t clicked on the survey yet, here is that link one more time.
