Stanley to support Marine network

Stanley Inc. has won an $8 million contract from the Marine Corps to provide computer network support for its recruiting operations.

Stanley Inc. has won an $8 million contract from the Marine Corps to provide computer network support for its recruiting operations.

Under the terms of the contract, Stanley of Arlington, Va., will maintain network infrastructure, handle call center and help desk services and identify emerging technologies to enhance the Marine Corps Recruiting Command's ability to carry out its mission.

The Marine Corps Recruiting Command is a new customer for Stanley, the company said. The command's headquarters is in Quantico, Va.

Stanley provides information technology services and solutions to defense and civilian agencies. The company ranks No. 50 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
