AF ready to pull in small biz

The Air Force Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization and Lockheed Martin Corp. have signed a memorandum of understanding to improve their outreach to small businesses.

Under the one-year agreement, the Air Force will give Lockheed Martin access to certain supplier listings, training programs and online training courses to help the company provide it with potential procurement opportunities to small businesses.

Lockheed Martin also will assist with or sponsor events to raise awareness of small-business opportunities and work with the Air Force to identify specific manufacturing procurement opportunities.
