Booz Allen wins $64 million in defense work

Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. won a five-year, performance-driven task order to support the Joint Requirements and Integration Office.

Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., McLean, Va., won a five-year, performance-driven task order worth $64 million to support the Department of Defense's Joint Requirements and Integration Office, the General Services Administration announced May 8.


The contract was awarded through the GSA's Federal Systems Integration Management Center.


Booz Allen will support the integration office in technical and information management areas, such as functional analysis and requirements definition, data standardization and analysis for IT initiatives and portfolio management.


The integrator will also provide functional oversight for the implementation and maintenance of the Defense Integrated Military Human Resource Systems, a Defense Department-wide human resource system whose implementation is now being competed for by teams lead by IBM Corp., Armonk, N.Y.; Lockheed Martin Corp., Bethesda, Md., and PwC Consulting Ltd., Hamilton, Bermuda.
