Titan wins Air Force work
Titan Corp. of San Diego announced April 1 that its subsidiary, Titan Systems Corp., was awarded a U.S. Air Force contract with a potential value of $88 million over five years.
Titan Corp. of San Diego announced April 1 that its subsidiary, Titan Systems Corp., was awarded a U.S. Air Force contract with a potential value of $88 million over five years.
The Air Force's Electronic Systems Center, headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base near Boston, competitively awarded the contract to Titan Systems Corp.'s SenCom Division in support of ESC's Information Technology Services Program II.
The win recognizes Titan's key contributions to the Air Force's command and control systems in the space, strategic and homeland defense arenas, said Gene Ray, Titan's president, chairman and chief executive officer.
Under the contract, Titan will provide technical, engineering, and management services to ESC's Strategic and Nuclear Deterrence Command and Control System Program Office at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado; Hanscom Air Force Base, and other locations. Titan will assist the program office in the sustainment and modernization of a worldwide network of command and control centers, surveillance sensors and strategic communications systems.
