CSC nabs $250 million Space Missile Command support contract

CSC estimates the value of the contract to be approximately $250 million over five years, if all options are exercised.
CSC is one of several companies that won part of a $680 million multiple-award contract.
Services will be provided to the Space and Missile Defense Command's Air and Missile Defense program executive office and the Ground Based Missile Defense Joint Program Office. CSC will provide systems definition, development and installation as well as simulations and technology demonstrations. Approximately 150 engineers, scientists and computer scientists will perform the work at locations including Huntsville, Ala., Arlington, Va., and Colorado Springs, Colo.
Space and Missile Defense Command runs a research and development program for the development of ballistic missile defense technology.
