Deloitte agrees to acquire a company that specializes in the deployment and integration of Oracle’s cloud infrastructure and application offerings.
Deloitte has agreed to acquire BIAS, a technology consulting firm that specializes in the deployment and integration of Oracle’s cloud computing infrastructure and related application offerings.
Both the terms of and the timeline to complete the transaction announced Thursday were undisclosed. BIAS is headquartered in Roswell, Georgia with the public sector hub based in Reston, Virginia that is directly behind Oracle’s office there.
BIAS is a reseller of Oracle’s cloud offering and related services on the governmentwide NASA SEWP V contract vehicle for acquiring IT products and solutions.
The company’s portfolio of contract vehicle positions also includes Army ITES-3S for software and National Institutes of Health CIO-SP3 for health IT solutions to federal agencies.
Acquiring the 21-year-old BIAS business is intended to help Deloitte expand its work with public sector and commercial clients that want to implement Oracle’s cloud infrastructure. BIAS also offers services for database, middleware, applications, analytics and security functions.
