Arlington Capital acquires MCR
Arlington Capital Partners acquires MCR, whose senior management team also is making their own investments in the business.
Private equity firm Arlington Capital Partners said Tuesday it has acquired MCR in a deal that sees the government services company’s senior management team also invest in the business.
MCR was founded in 1977 and provides services in cost analysis, engineering and software development to U.S. government agencies and certain international customers.
In late 2020, MCR adopted a new logo it sees as symbolizing the company’s transformation it had embarked on for two years.
That reinvention has centered around a framework involving analytics, talent and productivity to manage MCR’s internal functions and work with customers.
MCR will use Arlington Capital’s financial backing to further invest in core areas of the business and identify opportunities for future acquisitions.
Sheppard Mullin served as legal adviser to Arlington. Houlihan Lokey and Holland & Knight respectively served as financial and legal advisers to MCR.
