ECS parent backs acquisition of cyber, digital transformation
The parent company of government technology business ECS backs an acquisition to help the public sector business bolster its cybersecurity and digital transformation posture.
ASGN, the parent company of government technology business ECS, has acquired IndraSoft to add more offerings in cybersecurity and digital transformation for federal agencies.
Terms of the deal announced Friday were undisclosed, but ASGN said that ECS will gain nearly 220 employees by adding IndraSoft.
Reston, Virginia-headquartered IndraSoft was founded in 2004 and its federal customer base includes the Army including that branch’s intelligence arm, Defense Information Systems Agency and the Census Bureau. IndraSoft’s services also include DevSecOps and cyber analytics.
For the ECS business, this deal comes nearly seven months after another one also with a digital transformation bent. That acquisition of Integrated Solutions Management centered on expertise in the Internet of Things concept.
ASGN retained Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and IndraSoft worked with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP as the respective legal counsels.
