DHS awards 7 seats on $300M testing, acquisition support contract
The Homeland Security Department chooses seven companies for a $300 million contract to perform independent test and evaluation services in support of major acquisition programs.
The Homeland Security Department has chosen seven companies for a seven-year, $300 million contract to perform independent test and evaluation services in support of major acquisition programs.
Eleven total companies bid for the contract that was awarded on May 12, according Federal Procurement Data System information.
Awardees are:
- Black Diamond Consulting
- GAN Corp.
- Garud Technology Solutions
- Global Technology Solutions Inc.
- Greendart
- Joint Research and Development Inc.
- PPT Solutions
DHS sought industry’s help to determine each tested system’s operational effectiveness, suitability and cyber resilience with applicable policies and regulations.
Only small businesses were eligible for the DHS-Wide Independent Test Agent contract also known as DITA, according to this DHS industry forecast document from February.
